Goodwill Overview

Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania helps more than 53,000 individuals per year and serves as one of the largest and most diverse social and human service organizations in the region.

Operating more than 30 thrift stores selling donated clothing and housewares, Goodwill also offers a broad variety of programs and services for people with disabilities, disadvantages and other barriers to employment, including the following:

  • Free GED and ESL Classes
  • Vocational training in Health Care Office Skills and Administrative Office Skills
  • Assistive Technology Services
  • Job Training and Work Readiness Programs
  • Job Search Assistance and Placement Services
  • Transition Services
