CDI Printing Services Overview
UPMC’s Supplier Diversity Program, which began in 1989, and reengineered in 2006, is designed to provide minority, woman-owned, and disadvantaged businesses (MWDBE) equal access to obtaining commerce opportunities. The program ensures that certified MWDBEs are provided the maximum opportunity to participate as partners and suppliers of goods and services to UPMC.
CDI Printing Services (CDI), was among the first companies to sign on as a MWDBE partner, and has remained integral to UPMC’s business strategy over the decades producing cost-effective, quality services to various UPMC entities.
CDI was established in 1993 as a minority/veteran-owned commercial printing company specializing in marketing collateral including pamphlets, brochures, and company signage. Its reputation of quality work and community engagement marks the company as a model MWDBE partner, serving as a mentor to smaller local companies and local trade students.
